 ~ Appointment Policies ~

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time as we understand that your time is valuable, too.

If life gets busy and you cannot make it to your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide a 24-hour cancellation notice so that we can adjust our schedule.

For your convenience, "drop-off' appointments are available. We ask you that you "drop off' your pet in the morning so that our doctor can examine the patient in between appointments. Once the doctor has completed the exam, she will give you a call to go over the diagnosis and establish a treatment plan. Please make sure to keep your phone handy so that we can be in touch with visit details.

For the safety of our patients, we require that vaccinations be up-to-date. We also require that all animals be placed on a leash or in a pet carrier before arriving at our hospital. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We promise to give lots of treats and positive rewards throughout your pet's visit. And, we are grateful when our patients drop-by in the afternoons to say hello and get a cookie - Welcome to our Riverside Family!
